Herbert J. Sims & Co. is a 78 year old investment bank and brokerage firm that has financed over $12 billion of senior living projects. Sims, through an affiliate HJSims Investments, LLC currently has approximately $175 million invested in a portfolio of 90 properties.

Seabury has introduced a fund to make equity and mezzanine loan investments in senior housing assets with experienced development and operating partners. The fund will be seeded by the HJSims portfolio to give it immediate exposure to some of the best operators in the senior living field. The fund will provide a balance of current return and potential upside.
