Seabury through its daughter company SGI provides tailor made solutions to Lessors, Financial institutions, Airlines and Aircraft Owners. This may include pre-purchase inspections, major maintenance management, reserves claims management, regular audits, re-delivery support and provision of technical opinion. Compliance with Regulatory and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Standards, especially with a mixed fleet, can be a daunting task. Seabury has the expertise to assess all Mandatory Directives and/or Optional Modifications on behalf of its clients. The experienced team also performs lease reviews and negotiation, maintenance reserve management, contract management and risk analysis. Seabury advises clients of any major regulatory changes that arise from EASA and or the FAA and how best to manage these changes. This will provide the client with a clear view of the technical and economical condition of an aircraft.

SGI conducts pre-purchase, mid-lease and airline company audits, redeliveries and aircraft transfers on behalf of it clients. A comparison may be conducted between the aircraft records and its actual status to ensure a smooth transfer of the aircraft. SGI also advises clients on a range of issues such as, which aircraft type to operate, participation in the optional modification embodiment process and other technical and organizational issues.

SGI clients may want to monitor any Heavy Maintenance Checks or Major Modifications (Cabin Re-Configs). SGI provides an on-location team-member to liaise between the client and the Maintenance Organization, provide Daily Reports and monitor the progress of the client’s work

SGI will advise on maintenance costs and maintenance reserve terms, invoice on our client’s behalf and manage their payments.

Pre-Purchase/Lease inspection

SGI carries out comprehensive Pre-Purchase Inspections of aircraft and Records Reviews. This may allow a company or individual make an informed decision regarding the purchase of an aircraft. SGI also carries out Mid-Lease Inspections on behalf of Aircraft Leasing Companies. In addition to the aircraft physical inspection, thorough maintenance record reviews are carried out and results presented to the client in a clear and comprehensive way. This service allows the aircraft owner to monitor the maintenance and modification status of their aircraft.

Provision of Technical Opinions (Aircraft/Organisation)

The SGI team has a wealth of experienced people who assist their clients in technical or organizational dilemmas. SGI can provide guidance on the choice of aircraft, value adjustment for maintenance, modification embodiment review process and credit risk analysis of maintenance exposure, among a range of other things.

Maintenance Shop/ Major Modification monitoring

When a client's engine, landing gear or aircraft is sent for major maintenance or modification e.g. passenger to freighter conversion, SGI will be on-site to review the work performed. SGI will review and analyze any maintenance issues or additional work and report regularly to the client. This will allow the client to monitor the progress of the work scope and minimize cost exposure and delays resulting from technical findings.

Aviation Requirements (FAA/EASA) monitoring

Regulatory change may cause an aircraft owner to invest sizeable amounts in modifying their aircraft. SGI has the expertise to review all major regulatory changes and advise their clients on the most cost effective means of compliance. SGI recognizes the importance of maintaining high levels of quality and regulatory compliance while minimizing cost exposure to their clients.
