Amit Roy joined the Seabury Group as Vice President in 2007 and has over 15 years of Information Technology experience ranging from software project management, software development, application and infrastructure architecture. He has worked on financial systems with a variety of companies in many different industries including: Airlines, Banking, Energy, Construction, and NASA.

Prior to joining Seabury, Mr. Roy was an independent consultant working with a premier set of clients (Chevron, NPC) providing direction and mentorship to application development teams in building high availability and transaction intensive applications.

Preceding his role as an independent consultant, Mr. Roy worked at Bank of America as an Enterprise Architect where he was instrumental in building a Hyperion Center of Excellence for enterprise wide financial reporting needs. He managed a CMM3 certified development group that was responsible for over 100 financial applications.

Prior to Bank of America, Mr. Roy worked at Continental Airlines where he designed and developed various financial applications that were deployed across the enterprise such as Flight Profitability, Revenue Accounting, Payable Audit, Refunds, and Proration.

Before joining Continental, Mr. Roy served at NASA and Duke Energy in various capacities.

Mr. Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston. He is also a certified Six Sigma Greenbelt.
