Michael Lypka recently joined the Seabury Group with over 20 years of airline financing experience. Previously a partner at Babcock & Brown, he has advised numerous airline, leasing company and aerospace manufacturers on a range of transactions including leveraged leases, securitizations, sale-leasebacks and debt restructurings. His clients included Singapore Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Airbus and Cathay Pacific. He also advised railroads, transit agencies and manufacturers on their domestic and cross-border leveraged lease programs, many of which pioneered innovative financing structures and accessed new sources of capital.

In addition to his transportation industry activities, Mr. Lypka was responsible for public and private market debt raising for Babcock & Brown's North American real estate business. In this capacity, he raised billions of dollars of financing for its retail, multi-family, parking and other commercial real estate ventures.

Mr. Lypka received his M.B.A from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He is also a Chartered Accountant. He is a FINRA representative registered with the Series 7, 79 and 63.
