Stephen Strange has over 10 years of aviation operating and advisory experience, and has been with the Seabury Consulting team since August 2006. While at Seabury, Mr. Strange has worked with clients around the world on projects spanning fleet acquisition, commercial strategy, business and financial planning, operational improvement, restructuring, investor due diligence, vendor negotiations, and market forecasting.
Most recently, Mr. Strange assisted Cathay Pacific and United Airlines with their widebody aircraft purchase agreements, totaling over 80 firm aircraft at a list price above $20 billion.
Prior to Seabury, Mr. Strange worked for six years at The Boeing Company, including three years in the financial planning and analysis function with Boeing Capital Corporation, focused on the long-term financial forecasting of BCC’s $10 billion aircraft financing portfolio. Mr. Strange also worked for three years in Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ supplier management group assisting with the negotiation of long-term raw material supply contracts, with a focus on detailed financial analysis.
Mr. Strange was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and received an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
