Corporate Finance
Seabury's investment banking and air cargo specialists support their clients through -among others - acquisitions, mergers and divestitures. Its sole focus on the aviation industry has made it the leading company in this domain. Equally important, Seabury is fully independent of any bank or aircraft manufacturer.
Corporate Finance assignments conducted on behalf of our client base include:
- The completion of a due diligence on several airlines on behalf of a private equity fund with an extensive track record in the aviation industry. The due diligence included an estimation of potential upside in revenue increase and cost improvements.
- Scrutinized the business plan of a European all cargo operator with ambitious growth plans. A business plan scrutiny was needed to support its desired equity raise. Business plan evaluation included among others a market estimation and a competitive behavior check, financial valuation and assessment of the management team.
- The analysis of a potential joint-venture between a major leasing company and an Asian air cargo carrier on revenue and cost improvements.
- Conducted the financial restructuring of a cargo airline when the airline operated under a creditor protection scheme. Successfully migrated the cargo airline out of creditor protection phase.
- Performed a benchmark study on transfer pricing mechanisms of belly cargo operators and their impact on the overall cargo contribution to the airline. Recommendations were given on a desired transfer pricing model for the client airline.
