Seabury Serves as Financial Advisor to US Airways Group, Inc. In Completing $950 Million of Financings

Seabury Group LLC’s broker-dealer unit, Seabury Securities LLC, today announced that it served as financial advisor to US Airways Group, Inc. in securing $950 million of new financing through a series of transactions with several of the company’s strategic business partners. This follows the August 2008 successful $179 million common equity offering for which Seabury also advised US Airways.

Seabury Group LLC’s broker-dealer unit, Seabury Securities LLC, served as financial advisor to US Airways Group, Inc. with respect to its public offering of 21,850,000 shares of common stock (inclusive of an over-allotment of 2,850,000 shares) at an offering price of $8.50 per share for net proceeds of $179 million, after the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses.
