Job Description :

The Investment Banking Analyst will support senior bankers both in transaction execution, as well as development of new business proposals (i.e. “pitch books”). Common tasks include development of financial projection models and pro forma analysis, maintenance of comparable companies and precedent transactions analysis (i.e. “the comps”), and preparation of offering memoranda and management/investor presentations. Typical projects include strategic and financial advisory in the context of mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, leasing and private placements of equity and debt.

Requirements :

To receive an interview, candidates should have:

B.B.A, B.A., or B.S. degree with an exceptional academic record
Excellent analytical, quantitative and conceptual skills
Self-motivation and initiative to work independently as well as part of a team
Developed written and verbal communication skills
Capacity to multi-task
Track record of achievement in extracurricular and any professional endeavors, such as internships
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
Willingness to travel – many assignments involve travel to client locations
Experience/interest in transportation (particularly aviation) a plus
Financial modeling and coursework in finance or accounting experience a plus

Successfully completed a business and financial restructuring of Air Canada , where Seabury restructured C$13 billion of on-and off-balance sheet liabilities and raised C$1.1 billion of new equity capital through a combination of underwritten rights offering and private equity
