George Aschenbach joined the Seabury Group in 2002 with responsibility for airline re-engineering. Mr. Aschenbach has more than 20 years of experience in the airline and global distribution system (GDS) industries, having held senior financial positions with Continental Airlines, US Airways, and Northwest Airlines. He also served as vice president Š treasury, strategy support and new ventures for Galileo International and as an independent consultant. He has extensive experience as an advisor to clients on merger and acquisition analysis, business valuation analysis, financing and other treasury-related matters. As a consultant, he worked with a variety of airline companies both as an independent advisor and through his association with SH&E. He has led financial restructuring teams in a variety of airline restructuring assignments. While at Northwest Airlines, Mr. Aschenbach represented the finance group in a re-engineering program designed to achieve annual savings in excess of $100 million. He was a member of the core team responsible for Galileo's initial public offering in 1997. Mr. Aschenbach graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Boston University and received an M.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. |
