Ross McKenzie rejoined the Seabury Group in July 2006, having previously worked at Seabury an analyst and associate at the start of his career. Mr. McKenzie has nine years of experience in airline business and financial planning, aircraft acquisition analysis, and financial restructurings. At Seabury, Mr. McKenzie has assisted with or led the financial analysis for a variety of assignments, including corporate advisory projects, financial restructurings, business plan development and fleet analysis. Prior to rejoining Seabury, Mr. McKenzie was Senior Director, Finance, at Independence Air, where he had responsibility for corporate financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis. Prior to joining Independence Air in 2004, Mr. McKenzie was a Vice President with SkyWorks Capital LLC, a boutique aviation investment banking and advisory firm. Mr. McKenzie has developed financial analyses for a number of clients and projects, including aircraft acquisition campaigns at AirTran Airways, Atlantic Coast Airlines (later Independence Air), and Virgin USA (now Virgin America); corporate finance projects at AirTran Airways, Frontier Airlines, and Vanguard Airlines; and financial restructuring projects at Atlas Air, Air Canada, VARIG, and South African Airways. Mr. McKenzie received a B. A., Computer Science and Economics from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a licensed pilot. Mr. McKenzie is also an NASD Registered Representative, and is series 7 and 63 qualified.
