Brian Davis is an associate partner of the Seabury Group with responsibility for assisting Seabury’s aviation and aerospace clients with project assignments relating to re-fleeting analyses for passenger and air freight carriers, negotiating new aircraft orders and related financing support, acquisitions of used aircraft fleets, cargo conversion programs, fleet dispositions, and negotiations with powerplant OEMs and overhaul facilities. Prior to joining Seabury, Mr. Davis served as Vice President, Fleet Management Programs for Continental Airlines, Inc. from 1995 to 2000. At Continental Airlines he was in charge of fleet planning and management, and was the principal negotiator for Continental’s purchase of $12 billion of new aircraft and engines. Davis also managed the disposition through sale or lease of substantial quantities of used aircraft and engines, thereby allowing Continental to successfully execute a flexible fleet renewal plan. His knowledge of, and contact with, the major airframe and engine manufacturers and related strategic initiatives enabled Continental to acquire a new fleet of aircraft on one of the most cost-effective basis in the industry. He was similarly involved in the re-fleeting of COPA, the Panamanian flag carrier and an affiliate of Continental. Davis also served on the board of directors of COPA representing Continental’s interests. Prior to joining Continental, Davis was a sales executive with Boeing Company for over 25 years. His principal activity at Boeing was in selling commercial aircraft. In this capacity he dealt with most of the major airlines in Europe, Africa, South America, the Middle East and in the U.S., and maintains extensive contacts with airline executives in many parts of the world. Mr. Davis is a graduate of Washington State University. |
