Myles Goeller is a Managing Director and the head of Seabury’s Asia-Pacific consulting practice.

Mr. Goeller has 15 years of strategy consulting experience, with over 10 years focused on the aviation and broader transportation industries. He has worked with a wide range of global airlines, MROs, governments and other aviation industry participants on strategic, commercial and operational projects.

In commercial aviation, Mr. Goeller has worked exclusively with airlines in the Asia-Pacific region in the past 7 years, including Cathay-Pacific, Qantas, Garuda, Malaysia Airlines, Cebu Pacific and others.  This work included the review of a major Asian hub carrier’s long-term strategy, network, fleet and business model, as well as the subsequent evaluation, selection and negotiation of its widebody fleet replacement worth over $10 billion at list delivery prices. Mr. Goeller has also advised multiple Asian network carriers on network, fleet, alliance and business model strategies.  Mr. Goeller has advised a number of Asian low-cost carriers on network and fleet growth strategy and business planning. In addition to commercial strategy, Mr. Goeller has extensive experience in operations and cost efficiency programs in maintenance, ground handling, catering, flights and cabin crew operations and supply chain optimization.  Mr. Goeller spent over 3 years working exclusively with a major Asian carrier to design and manage the execution of a range of operational cost and corporate redesign initiatives.  Mr. Goeller has previously worked on multiple aviation engagements in North America and Latin America, including US Airways, Air Canada, Frontier Airlines and TACA.

Within broader transportation industries, Mr. Goeller advises governments, MROs, cargo & logistics providers, airports and other participants on commercial strategy, market forecasting and operational efficiency.  He has previously advised the Singapore government on its long-term air cargo strategy and policy, and has also advised an investment consortium on the development of an Aviation Industrial Park.  Mr. Goeller has previously worked with a number of 3rd party MRO and aftermarket providers.

Prior to joining Seabury, Mr. Goeller was a senior consultant at Bain & Company, and during his Bain career worked in telecommunications, banking, insurance and mining industries.  Prior to Bain & Company, Mr. Goeller spent two years working in internet technology start-ups.  Mr. Goeller has a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems (Honors) and Accounting from the University of the Cape Town, South Africa.
